The new Float’n Thang float has a number of features that make it ideal for drowning prevention. It has a tapered headrest that contours to the neck, providing support and comfort. It also has built-in beverage holders and a safety loop for attaching an optional leash.
The safety loop is not for towing but for keeping the float close to you at all times. This is important for drowning prevention, as it allows you to easily grab the float if you start to struggle in the water.

The Float’n Thang is perfect for people who have difficulty floating on their own. It’s also a great way for people to be safer around water. Many people venture out into the water without any flotation. They become the sad cases when they don’t come back.
Most floats keep the user on top of the water, such as a tube with limited mobility; many oversized inflatables are not permitted in many public areas, as the user has to fight the mercy of the wind. Drifting out to danger, into deeper water, with cooler temperatures. So many things can go wrong around water, so why not add some additional safety items?
